Course M330 – Trauma Under Fire (TUF) is a two-day (20 hour) Advanced Casualty Care Course. This course builds on the skills learned in M300 and adds the tactical elements of shooting, moving, and communicating while caring for casualties. This course is suited for uniformed tactical first responders who may find themselves operating in a casualty inducing environment as a member of a team or for prepared citizens who may find themselves responsible for the care of family and friends during an active shooter event.
Students in this course participate in guided instruction, practical exercises, as well as live-fire examinations to ensure mastery of the subject matter. Students must have previously passed course M300 or have permission of the lead instructor in order to be enrolled.
Successful participants will receive an Advanced Trauma kit and a pocket-sized trauma handbook.
