Course M300 – Combat Care is a two-day (20 hour) Advanced Combat Casualty Care Course. The course utilizes Trauma Life Support and TCCC Principles to prepare students to respond to casualties in an active shooting environment. This course is suited for uniformed first responders who may arrive first to shooting in progress or for prepared citizens who may find themselves caught in a mass shooting environment.
Students in this course participate in guided instruction, practical exercises, as well as situational examinations to ensure mastery of the subject matter. Skills that are taught include Gunshot Wound ballistics, advanced airway procedures, and wound management including suture lab.
Successful participants will receive an Advanced Trauma kit and a pocket-sized trauma handbook.
